The video work by Andrij Bojarov "... And some water", debating with the television medium, was created with a portable video camera and a switched-on television set. The realisation greatly adds to the rich tradition of the video art history, where since the second half of the 1960s  artists have been debating with the television medium. Perceiving the television as a phenomenon that is increasingly affecting the society, its structure and beliefs, artists have tried to argue with this phenomenon, to deconstruct it, and prevent the perception act from happening on the unilateral basis of "transmission-reception". They would make attempts to influence the picture and they used switched on television sets as the substance of their work. Bojarov often uses the strategy of "appropriation art" in his work, using quotes from his own and other peoples work, for example by recording television programmes with a video camera.
